Dr. Amir Ali Salemi Zadeh
Chairperson. Founder & CEO of JTA International Investment Holding
Dr. Amir Ali Salemi Zadeh is a visionary entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in strategic management. Under his leadership, JTA International Investment Holding has expanded to nearly 50 countries, becoming a global leader in energy, health, civil infrastructure, and tourism. As a member of the CEO Roundtable at the Al Attiyah Foundation, he actively shapes discussions on sustainability and energy innovation. A sought-after speaker and thought leader, Dr. Salemi Zadeh is recognized for his strategic vision, commitment to excellence, and transformative impact in global investment.
Mrs. Lena Sene
CEO and Board Member
Lena Sene is President and CEO of the financial investment advisory group Developing Capital for Africa (DCA Africa) based in Senegal. She has over 15 years of finance experience in the US and in Africa.
Prior to founding DCA Africa, Lena Sene was the Executive Director of Business Development at CGF Bourse in Senegal, the top-rated Asset Management and Financial Advisory firm in the WAEMU Zone of Francophone Africa. Before that, Lena was a Managing Director at Deer Isle Capital LLC in New York, where she was responsible for overall business development and for the firm’s Africa investment strategy. She began her banking career as a Private Banker at JPMorgan Chase and at Lehman Brothers.
In 2006, Lena was appointed by President George W. Bush to the White House Fellowship, a 60-year-old non-partisan leadership program, along with 13 other nationally selected Americans. She served for Secretary Alphonso R. Jackson at the Department of Housing and Urban Development. She obtained Top Secret Security Clearance from the FBI. Lena was also selected 1 of 120 global scholar-leaders inducted into the Academy of Achievement Class of 2007.
In 2012, Lena was selected by former Prime Minister of SENEGAL, Idrissa Seck, to serve as his Campaign Director during the Senegalese presidential elections.
In 2024, Lena was appointed Advisor to CEO of JTA International Investment Holding company based in Qatar, that invests in Energy, Civil, Innovation & Technology, Tourism, Transportation, Health, Agriculture & Food Security domains across the globe.
In 2025, Lena was selected as one of the 100 Most Influential Women in Africa at the 3rd Edition of the African Women Awards organized in Addis-Abeba, Ethiopia.
Lena has a B.A. in Economics from Bates College, an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Mid-Career Master in Public Administration (MPA) from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where she was selected a Mort Zuckerman Fellow.
She is fluent in English, French, Russian and Wolof.
Dr. Dan Jager
Vice Chairperson
Dr. Jager has extensive managerial experience in the energy and technology sectors in Luxemburg and Senegal and is currently President and CEO of SAPI S.A. Sénégal and CEO of SAPI Ltd in the Gambia.
He is also an author, philosopher, and independent researcher. His academic background includes PhDs in Physics, Chemistry, and Psychology, with many years dedicated to scientific study and research. Dr. Dan Jager is the author of a growing body of literary, philosophical, and research works, developed and published in Persian, English, French, and German for an international readership.
